Well, I think I must be getting adventurous in my old age - this week, it's three challenges in one, which is something I thought I'd never do. Mind you, none of the challenges is particularly difficult on its own and combined, they make a great collection.
The three challenges are:
Papertake: Buttons, Bows, Brads & Bling - use any (or all) of these on your project or card
Digital Tuesday: Challenge #48 - Use scallops
Moxie Fab World, Tuesday Trigger: Sweet on Spring - this one is a colour challenge, with inspiration from this collage by Kim Wilson:
Wow, what a wonderful collection of colours to work with.
So, with all these in mind, here's the card:
Image: Mo's Digital Pencil, 'Two Jill' - Jill is Two, Two is Hard!
Papers: Cosmo Cricket, 'Girl Friday' range and Bazzill Basics, Swiss Dot
I have always wanted to colour this little cutie - how could anyone not love her childish stubborness? She so reminds me of my friend's middle daughter, who would take up exactly this stance when she was not happy with bedtime! Coloured 'Two Jill' with my Copics, adding a little background shading with my Prismacolors, as always. She was matted on to a scalloped oval cut from Bazill Basics Swiss Dot and then layered on to beautiful Cosmo Cricket, for punch. A strip of yellow runs through the card to lift and complete it. I have no idea what occasion this card will fit but I'm sure she will find a good home at some point soon.
Well, back to work tomorrow and I can't say I'm looking forward to this coming week at work. Still, it's only a few days until Friday (oh, I'm wishing my life away!) and there's always this week's challenges to keep me sane in the meantime.
So, I'd best get off and play with Mr Linky but I'll be back soon with the rest of last week's challenge entries, before this week's begin! Gosh, I am a busy bee.
