An Addition

For those of you who have kindly commented on my Bathing Beauties card, I have taken a couple more photographs to show you the layers, so that you can see how the card is built up.  I know that it's sometimes difficult to imagine just from a written description.  So here's what I did:

Here's a side(ish) view - you can see that the 'sand' layer is forward of the railings and the 'sea' layer is forward of the 'sand' layer.  Does that make sense?

The right-hand photo shows the layers from the top and now you can also see that the bathing beauties stand proud of the beach hut.

Finally, here's a view from the bottom - if you enlarge it, you will see that the beach hut roof is proud of the background paper too.  Hope that helps clarify the construction.

This is an Isabella's Sketchbook image (you might have heard that I'm on the DT!) called 'Beach Fun'.  It's super simple to colour, or you could even paper piece the costumes and turbans if you wished.  Not been to Isabella's yet?  Why not visit her challenge blog here, or her store here.  You'll be hooked!

We'd love to see you  take part in our weekly challenges and Isabella has kindly provided a freebie to get you started - see this post for info and to download your copy of the freebie - and take up the Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge this week.  And, finally, why not hop over to Isabella's Sketchbook on Papercraft Planet and see what other Isabella fans are up to!

Happy crafting.
