It's Isabella Time!

Happy Wednesday all and already it's another Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge.  How time flies!

We had such fun on the blog hop last week - wasn't it wonderful to see all the different 'takes' on the beautiful image Isabella created for us?  And my teamies are so talented - I'm lucky to be working with them.

So, on to this week and it's an easy one this week - Anything Goes!  Yup, after our hectic hop we girls deserve to take it a little easy so our challenge was simple - make anything we wanted, using any image and in any colour!

Here's mine:

 Image: Isabella's Sketchbook, 'Cup Stack' (coming to the store soon!)

Papers: October Afternoon (background);
M Martin digi papers, 'Tasia' collection (sorry, I can't remember where I downloaded it!)

I'm not sure what's happening to me - I seem to have fallen in love with pink again, which is a worry. It is most unlike me to use a lot of pink and yet, both today's posts have plenty of the light red stuff to go around!

This is a lovely image - you can play around with it sooo much.  I chose to paper piece each cup in a different but co-ordinating paper and, for added 'umph', actually decoupaged the cup stack for a bit of 3D effect, which you can probably see better in the photograph below.

I added extra depth by shading the base cups with my Copics and adding extra shadow to the top and middle cups to give the illusion of them stacking.  I gently curved each cup before applying it to the stack, which helps with the 3D effect.

So now it's over to you.  Using an Isabella's Sketchbook image, let your creativity run free and show us your 'Anything Goes' project.  You never know, you could be the winner of two images from Isabella and a beautiful 'I Won' badge for your blog.

We so love seeing your entries each week and we try hard to make sure that we comment on your lovely work.  And if you've never entered the challenge before, come on, what are you waiting for!? We'd love you to join in.

Don't forget to check out the other DT cards and spread some love!

Happy crafting.
