I think the subject of my card today is having the same problem:
Image: Mo's Digital Pencil, 'Mariko is Mad'
Papers: October Afternoon
This is my entry for this week's challenge over a Mo's Digital Challenge blog, where the theme is 'Fabric'. You will see that little Mariko is wearing a new cotton dress and I've used the same fabric to create some 'flowers' - although I appear to have gone a little mad with the leaves and gems!
This little one looks exactly how I feel at the moment - except she looks much cuter, of course! Petulance doesn't really suit a 47 year old woman! (Hangs head in shame.)
I coloured Mariko with my Copics and then, with fabric, kind of paper-pieced her dress and panties. I used my Prismas to add a little shading to the fabric (not as easy as I thought it would be!) just so that it wouldn't look completely flat.
Despite her demeanour, she really is cute, isn't she? Mo has managed to capture that sulky expression so well - in fact, I think she must have been with me on Saturday when I was baby sitting - we had a moment just like this one!
So, I'm off to link up and then it's time to get ready for work - ugh!
Don't forget to check back later because, of course, it's Isabella Time today!
Have a good one!
Happy crafting.
xx

greetings karin
Oh Peri,
ReplyDeleteThis is as cute as can be. Love how you used fabric on your card. Now I just have to know how to make these flowers!!! I have seen them twice now - ones made with ribbon and yours made with fabric. I haven't a clue how to do them!
Very cute card. Love the use of fabric. You said you used Prismas for the backgrounds on this and your beach one. Do you use prisma color pencils and gamsol? Whatever you do, they are very nice backgrounds!
