Isabella Time!

Hi everybody and a happy Wedesday to you all!  Of course, being Wednesday it's Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge time and this week our challenge is all about black and white.  You can colour your image but the rest of the card must be black and white only - I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Here's my creation (and a little blurry photo, methinks - apologies):

Image: Isabella's Sketchbook, 'P.S. I Love You'

Papers: Pink Petticoat digital download, 'Big Fella' collection

I loved the idea of a monotone image with just one pop of colour and this lovely little mail box was just the thing.

I also used one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders, to create some texture and interest on the white background panel - most unusual for me but, hey, it's good to have a change now and then.

I coloured up the mail box with my Copics (as usual) and added the warm grey shading with my Prismas.  Then a little red heart right in the centre and there it was - exactly as I imaged it.

There was no need to mat and layer much with this one - the papers and ribbons did most of the work for me.  Oh, and did you see the cute little heart button?  Just found it lurking in the bottom of my stash and couldn't resist using it.

So, don't be shy - join us in the challenge and be in with a chance of winning two images by Isabella and a beautiful 'I Won' badge for your blog.

Don't forget to use an Isabella image in your entry - if you haven't been to the store yet, then run over there and choose (if you can) from all her beautiful images.  There's something for every taste so you're bound to be spoilt for choice!

Also, make sure to check out the DT's blogs too - they are a talented bunch of ladies and they're sure to inspire you.

I'm looking forward to seeing all your creations.

Have a good week and happy crafting.
